Dates: 17-21 June, 2013 - 5 days
Location: CISM, Palazzo del Torso (Udine, Italy)
Registration: through CISM's website
Lecture notes (available to participants only):
through CISM's website (password required)
Object: to instruct trainees to state-of-the-art numerical methodologies as well as experimental techniques for analysis of fibre suspension flows. These tools will be useful to perform the test cases selected to establish the knowledge base.
The training school is organized with lectures and a workshop on day 4. The course will be organized under the auspices of ERCOFTAC SIG12 ``Dispersed Turbulent Two- Phase Flows'' and SIG43 ``Fiber suspension flow modelling'' and with the support of two COST Actions: Action FP1005 ``Fiber suspension flow modelling: a key for innovation and competitiveness in pulp and paper industry'' and Action MP0806 ``Particles in Turbulence''.
